Advice and Access Team working in Partnership with Barnwood Trust
We are a proactive team, aiming to provide guidance and application support to individuals who are eligible to apply for a Barnwood Trust grant but are not within the criteria of Barnwood Trusts existing Community Partner network.
Our aim is to provide a wraparound service that includes a full benefit review and initial debt assessment to enable the individual to maximise their income. We also have the ability to refer to specialist teams within North and West Gloucestershire Citizens Advice if required.
We focus not only on finances but also on support options, linking the individual to other Community Partners or organisations where appropriate.
Other funding sources are also considered but we encourage an individual to consider an enrichment opportunity where available, as supported by Barnwood Trust. Enrichment opportunities may include a hobby, interest or course or that may benefit the individual in the short or long term.
Our focus is for the individual to receive the maximum benefit from a grant, particularly an enrichment opportunity.
